One-To-One Training
If you are looking to tackle a specific problem or simply want to improve your dog's basic training and manners, then personal one-to-one training provides an intense and successful method.
You can chose to train in your own home and garden, or take to the outdoors - because structuring the training around the dog's requirements requires the training to be as flexible as possible.
Training with Alpha Dog Services is always dog friendly and uses positive training methods in order to gain the respect of your best friend and develop a confident human / canine relationship.
Training Classes - Coming Soon
Alpha Dog Services Training Classes are calm and well structured; covering a range of training programs from basic puppy socialisation and training, through to more advanced and mentally challenging training.
As we follow the guidelines for the Kennel Club Bronze and Silver Good Citizen Dog Scheme, any owners wishing to be tested for these awards will be given the opportunity on a periodic basis. If you would like to find out more about the training programs, please contact me for a copy of the guidelines.
Special Training Classes - Coming Soon
Rescue dogs and boisterous dogs that may have been unwelcome in other classes are invited to join the ‘special’ class where extra attention will be given in areas such as dog socialisation and trust of strangers.
This class also follows a structured program of training, leading to the Bronze and Silver awards, however, additional attention and time will be given to other issues that may arise. There’s no pressure to perform, just the time and encouragement to develop!
Also, a discount may be available for block booking your one-to-one training. Please enquire!
We've all heard the old saying "idle hands are the devil's tools."
The popularity of the adage stems from its validity. Those who are not able to keep themselves busy are far more apt to fill their time with inappropriate acts.
If re-written to apply to man's best friend, the notion that "idle paws are the devil's tools" would ring true as well.
A dog who is not sufficiently engaged in physical activity is far more likely to present behavioural challenges.
